Billing

Where your organisation stands, how many documents you have made this month, and the plans you can choose.

In the app: Settings, Billing

Your trial

Every new organisation gets 14 days with everything in the Standard plan. No card is needed. A pill in the top bar shows the days left, and turns amber in the last three days.

You can choose a plan at any time during the trial. Your card is charged when the trial ends, not before. If two days or fewer remain, billing starts straight away.

The plans

Starter 100 documents a month. Print each note as you go. The three starter templates, edited freely.
Standard 500 documents a month. Print and create in bulk. As many templates as you like.
Business 2,000 documents a month and never stopped for volume. Priority support. No "Sent with Deliverta" line on signing pages and emails.

Signed proof of delivery, attached to the Xero invoice and emailed to your customer, is on every plan. Pay monthly or yearly. A year costs ten months.

Prices show in the currency of your organisation's country in Xero: Australian, New Zealand, British, US or Canadian. Other countries see the Australian price, converted by Stripe into your currency at checkout, at Stripe's rate. No tax is added at present.

Choosing a plan

Pick Monthly or Yearly, then click Choose under a plan. You go to a secure checkout page run by Stripe, our payment provider, where you enter your card and, if you like, your business tax number and a promotion code. You come back to this page and the new plan shows within a few seconds.

Changing or cancelling

Click Manage billing. On Stripe's page you can change your card, switch plan or switch between monthly and yearly, download invoices, or cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Moving to a smaller plan applies its limits straight away, counting the documents already made this month.

Monthly limits

The count is documents created in the calendar month, in your organisation's timezone. Delivery notes and packing slips count alike, and so do voided ones. The page shows the count, for example "37 of 500 documents this month".

Going over the limit does not stop a truck. You can keep creating documents up to 20% past the limit, with a notice to upgrade. Past that, creating is refused until you move up a plan or the month turns over. Business is never refused.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries the card and emails you. You keep access while it does. Click Manage billing to update your card.

When the trial or plan ends

Your documents stay readable, downloadable and printable one at a time. You cannot create documents or templates, or issue new signing links, until you choose a plan. Signing links already printed keep working until they expire, and their signed copies still reach Xero and your customer.
